The Firewalk
Touching the power within
The origins of Firewalking
are so ancient, no one knows for sure where it began ... or why.
Indigenous cultures all over the world have used Firewalking as
a ritual for a wide variety of reasons. Some of these are a
coming of age initiation, a metaphor for life, the overcoming of
fear, or an understanding of a personal reality. It can be said
that the reasons people walk on fire are as many and varied as
the individuals who walk. The Firewalk has the potential to
break down self-imposed limitations. It can transform ones
belief system and create a more effective way of dealing with
life's challenges. Consequently Shift Happens. The experience
for each Firewalker will unfold in direct relation to their own
personal reality whether they choose to walk or not.
Participation in the Ritual is the key, while walking is
always a choice.
Zsuzsa Owen has been sharing her journey with the Fire by
engaging with the public for the last ten years. On her own
path, she has worked with Shaman from many indigenous cultures
and has had teachers from many walks of life, from the Q'uero
elders in Peru and the Shaur medicine men in Ecuador to the
Lakota Sioux sacred traditions as well as participation in
Gestalt techniques and Eastern Philosophies in energy work. She
brings a unique and comprehensive understanding of "thy self" to
all of her work. Compassionate and straightforward, she
effectively nurtures encouragement and understanding in all of
her Firewalks creating a safe space for her participants.
Come & experience the Fire and touch the power within
yourself.
